This superb cottage has everything that you need to make your holiday an enjoyable one.
After parking your car you enter into an extended open plan living area, with a kitchen which is well-equipped.
From the kitchen is a dining area and a cosy sitting area, where views of the open countryside can be admired, maybe whilst you sip on a morning coffee before venturing out for the day.
Up on the first floor are three bedrooms and separate to them is a bathroom.
Outside there are three garden areas that you can sit in, with the raised lawned area to the front boasting wonderful country views.
A lovely holiday home that you'll want to return to time and again.
Note: This property is next to Bishop Howe, together they sleep 10.

Another wonderful week at Glenside
Our second stay this year and what a great week we had. A relaxing stay made all the better by the weather which was excellent. We love sitting in the front porch in the evening and watching the sun set. Already booked for the same week next year!

Another lovely return visit to Glenside, it’s like home from home. Excellent cottage with stunning views. Anne is always kind and helpful, from the lovely welcome gifts to lending bike locks. This is somewhere to definitely return to.
Relaxing Week in The Lakes
We’ve stayed at Glenside for the past 5 years and took the opportunity to sneak in a quick week in January even though we’re back again at the end of April. Glenside is a lovely cosy cottage in a beautiful quiet location. It’s always spotlessly clean and well maintained. No one at home believed us that we didn’t see any rain last week, but we didn’t and we enjoyed a relaxing week with a few nice walks and visits to both the Tower Bank Arms and the Cuckoobrow. Lovely cottage, amazing views, ideal location for walking and exploring the area.
Grateful for the pint of milk in the fridge and the lovely treats left for us. Well stocked kitchen. Owner kept in touch during our stay. Very grateful of the rope left in garden to allow our dog to wonder around the garden. Too many rabbits around to let him off the lead!! She even dropped in a discount voucher for a coffee shop. Information booklet was helpful. We’d certainly recommend and visit again.
Glenside is a lovely cottage with easy access to Windemere and Coniston Water.
The view from the cottage itself is breathtaking and located in a very quiet corner of the village. There are many walking trails from the cottage. We enjoyed every moment of our stay. Thank you.

The host, anne was excellent in contacting us about the road conditions after storm Amy and also a power cut the village had. Will certainly be returning

Anne very helpful, even lending us her own hairdryer for the week. Really couldn't have asked for a better holiday cottage.

The woodburner added to the cosy atmosphere. The cottage is situated very conveniently for day trips anywhere in the Lake District; there are also plenty of walking paths straight from the doorstep. Thank you for your hospitality!
