Where and when can I watch the ​Tour de France Grand Départ 2027 in Cumbria?

Britain will host three stages of racing as a part of the men’s 2027 Tour de France, which will take place between Friday 2 and Sunday 4 July.

On Friday 2 July, the route will travel from Edinburgh to Carlisle. On Saturday 3 July, the route will travel through the Lake District National Park from Keswick to Liverpool via places like Grasmere, Ambleside, Windermere and Milnthorpe.

The third stage will then travel from Welshpool to Cardiff on Sunday 4 July.

Our cottages dates are from Saturday to Saturday so you can either book from 26 June 27 and watch the race in Carlisle on the Friday. 

Or book from Saturday 3rd July, watch the Grasmere/Ambleside/Windermere section, then it's just a short drive to Sawrey to commence your holiday.
