From the doorstep, scenic walks unfold in every direction. A particularly lovely route crosses open fields to Hill Top, once the home of Beatrix Potter and now cared for by the National Trust. Just a five-minute stroll away, Far Sawrey’s welcoming village pub offers a quintessential Lakeland stop, while nearby Hawkshead enchants with its whitewashed 17th-century houses, tea rooms, independent shops and the Beatrix Potter Gallery.
No stay would be complete without time on Lake Windermere. Regular cruises glide between Ambleside, Bowness and Lakeside, offering a serene and memorable way to experience the landscape. Further afield, guests can enjoy woodland walks in Grizedale Forest, fishing on Esthwaite Water, or a visit to the Aquarium of the Lakes.

Upstairs, three inviting bedrooms provide flexible accommodation: a king-size double, a twin room (which can be converted to a super-king on request), and a single bedroom, served by the main bathroom.
